Who is in charge of construction and repair of foreclosed homes?

My step dad has his own construction business, and with all the foreclosed homes in the area he wants to get into repairing them. Who would he have to contact to get into this? Thanks in advance :) - Your Questions About Foreclosures

Your Questions About Foreclosures

The Expert answers:

He would have to get in contact with the realtor who is in charge of selling the property. Be aware though that they will perform a background check on everyone in the company and your step dad will also have to carry the proper insurace and licenses in order to perform the work in the first place.

The work they do on foreclosed homes is minimal, such as clean-up, yard work, repairs, painting and such.

Try
http://www.emailforeclosures.com
This website only has foreclosed on properties.

If you are getting into the investment/flipping game then purchasing pre-foreclosure listings from foreclosure.com or realty trac.com is the best way to go.

Good luck!
