Joseph asks…

will i catch any hudson river striped bass now?

Im starting to fish the hudson river a little early but do you think i have a chance at catching stripers? It doesnt matter what size, i just love fishing stripers. I will be shore fishing around haverstraw bay and tappan zee area with bloodworms.
I understand that im fishing out of season but i will be releasing the fish as i catch them.

Your Questions About Foreclosures

The Expert answers:

What does the season being closed mean to you, that it’s ok? If it’s closed, that means no fishing to me.I release them all when the season is open. The reason it’s closed is because they don’t want to send the rescue divers out to drag you up when you slip off the ice covered rocks and drown. If you want a citation for fishing out of season, and pay the fine if you get caught, and diminish the already bad impression that we fisherman are given and reduce the access to waters that grows forever with more and more restrictions placed on our sport. This is why people don’t want us fishing, because of blatent violators who disregard the rules to do as they feel fit, regardless of the rules. The holdovers that are there should be left alone until the season opens.Give those little guys a chance to get big without molesting them.

Your Questions About Foreclosures

Paul asks…

Okay who stole the engines of the plane that “crashed” into the Hudson River?

AP – Federal investigators said both engines of the US Airways jetliner that ditched into the Hudson River were missing Friday as reports emerged that the pilot who safely landed the aircraft had considered an emergency landing at two airports. Police divers were using sonar to find the engines. Kitty Higgins of the National Transportation Safety Board said both apparently came off after hitting the water Thursday.

Your Questions About Foreclosures

The Expert answers:

There never were any engines. It was a government plot, just like the airplane that hit the Pentagon, and the two that hit the Twin Towers. It was shot up in the air with a big CIA super secret rubber band.
