Your Questions About Foreclosures

Laura asks…

Who out there is happy about the signing of Orlando Hudson?

I, personally, am glad that the Dodgers got Hudson. I’ve always been a proponent of good defense & with Furcal and Hudson as a double play combo I think we have as good a defensive combo up the middle as any in the N.L.

Paul asks…

For the Hudson Valley what hurricane category am I getting?

I’ve been hearing category 1 and category 2 but mostly category 2. Do u by any chance know what category the Hudson Valley is getting? Thankss!

Your Questions About Foreclosures

The Expert answers:

I’ve actually been hearing that it might weaken to a tropical storm by the time that it reaches us (I live in HV as well). That being said, it’s only a possibility (it’s also likely that it’ll still be a Cat 1 storm), and you should still be VERY careful.

Is the largest meteor crater in the world in Hudson Bay?

Look at any map of Canada and you will notice an almost perfect semi-circle on the east side of Hudson Bay. It looks exactly like the remains of an ancient impact site!

Thomas asks…

What are some natural resources in the Arctic and Hudson Bay Lowlands?

I need two examples of natural resources in the arctic and hudson bay lowlands. please only answer if you have one! thank you!

Your Questions About Foreclosures

The Expert answers:

Arctic Lowlands: “The harsh climate does not permit farming; the ground remains frozen most of the year. However, the Paleozoic sedimentary rock, from which the Lowlands are formed, contains lignite (a form of coal), oil, and natural gas deposits. Limestone is very abundant as well.”

Hudson Bay Lowlands: Oil, natural gas, and peat.

“The Lowlands also make up a significant portion of Canada’s oil and natural gas production.”

“The ‘crackled’ pattern is produced by ice wedges in the sphagnum peat.”

The last one isn’t the best source as far as the amount of information goes, but much of Canada’s lowland regions are wetlands and peat is a natural resource of all of them.
